Genesis House

A Place of New Beginnings is an appropriate subtitle for The Genesis House.  This is an organization that is providing shelter, security, and safety to women and their children, who are victims of domestic violence.  It is also a place where spirits can be uplifted, confidence instilled, and guidance and direction given for the development of life-skills.  The Genesis House is a two-story shelter, but it is designed with all of the warmth and amenities these women and children so desperately need and deserve.  At the heart of the Genesis House facility is a vaulted two-story great-room flooded with natural light.  Surrounding the great-room are administrative spaces, private bedrooms accommodating 48 individuals, a dining room, kitchen, laundry, exercise room, and secure indoor and outdoor play spaces for the children.
