The Baptist Home of Ozark
(Ozark, Missouri)
The Baptist Home Campus in Ozark began with a simple goal – to provide a third Baptist Home campus in Southwest Missouri for the last 100% benevolent long term care organization in the United States. Our involvement with this project began at the same time the Baptist Home’s newly appointed director, Sammy Allen, moved to Southwest Missouri. This began a wonderful working relationship with Mr. Allen that initially included the development of a comprehensive master plan. This master plan included a first phase 60-bed residential care facility unlike any seen in this part of the country (represented by the first group of photographs). The second phase of the master plan included independent duplexes, triplexes, and four-plex dwelling units (represented by the second group of photographs). Future phases include multi-story assisted living apartments, an activities center, and even a par-3 golf course. With an abundance of natural light, open vaulted ceilings, and generously designed resident rooms, the Baptist Home of Ozark continues to set the standard for care facilities in Southwest Missouri and beyond.
