Parkview High School Phase I

Education
Parkview High School Phase I
(Springfield, Missouri)

Russell Architects and DLR Group worked together on this addition/renovation to Parkview High School.  During the planning phase of the project, our team participated in numerous meetings and workshops with School District staff, Parkview High School staff, students, and community.  We also reviewed hundreds of staff and community surveys and questionnaires to learn what the community believed to be most important for the future of the high school.

From this information, we developed a plan that addressed the school’s  educational and facility goals and needs.  The improvement project included replacing existing classrooms with a new 52,000 square foot classroom wing and entrance.  It also included adding air conditioning, improving technology, and upgrading the interiors of the second existing classroom wing.  This modernization project provides additional and updated classrooms, increased systems efficiency, and an improved appearance for the existing classroom areas.
