Freeman Residence

Russell Architects was hired by the Freeman family to design an addition to and complete renovation of their existing home.

The renovation includes opening up their existing ranch-style home, replacing existing load-bearing walls with new post-and-beam construction, transforming existing enclosed rooms into a series of open living spaces, framed views, and naturally lit spaces.

The new addition includes family room, bedrooms, bathrooms, and transition spaces with vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, a large stone fireplace, and magnificent views of their expansive property.

The exterior includes a new in-ground swimming pool and pool-house.  The pool-house, combined with the new addition, creates a private courtyard, perfect for relaxing or entertaining.
